Lamb Meat
Shetland sheep are a slow growing breed, and we start harvesting at nine months when they reach breeding age. (Lamb is up to one year of age.) The meat is lean, tender and mild. We are currently sold out, but will be offering half and whole shares again starting December 2013. Please email if you are interested in being put on a list.

Poultry – sold out for 2013
Heritage Breed Broilers, Fryers, Roasters, and Stewing Hens are available a few times a year. Please be aware that these are not cornish rock hybrids, which are the most common meat bird. These are slow growing old-fashioned dual purpose birds that require a longer cooking time at a lower temperature. They will have less breast meat, more leg meat, and more flavor.
